Hi Janis -- Per an email thread from Christine Huffman (Recyclicious), I am sending you an application to apply for your October show. She thought my work might fit nicely with your current roster of artists -- since she is unable to participate due to unexpected family travel. I have been doing high-end art shows for many years such as the Contemporary Crafts Market in Los Angeles and I travel with my work from Seattle to San Diego. I recently was accepted into a show in Scottsdale, later in the fall. I have been selling my handmade cards to the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach for over 10 years -- and know my work resonates with these kind of events. I have been designing Handmade Greeting cards since 2000 -- and my quirky illustrations over the last 10 years. My Handmade, One-of-a-Kind Art Cards use the beautiful art found on Postage stamps and I embellish them with recycled textiles. I offer cards in many areas from Dogs/Cats/Music/Writers/Art/Nature/Asian-themed/Botanicals/Birds/Horses, etc. I do take custom requests on site of shows and produce them at my booth. My offbeat illustrations are offered as greeting cards, magnets, (2) yearly calendars and books (including a yoga line) as well as inspirational signed posters (8x10 and 13x19) which are great for offices and homes.
